After making the playoffs last year, Ryan Dempster has predicted that the Chicago Cubs will win the World Series. I guess he forgot that the Cubs were SPANKED by the Arizona Diamondbacks last year in the playoffs. This coming from a guy who isn't a starting pitcher and only pitched 66 innings last year. Is this guy for real? Maybe this guy should give up his Cubs jersey and sit in the stands for 100 years as a fan! Wow!
If that doesn't light a fire for the guys in the Milwaukee Brewers jersey or St. Louis Cardinals for that matter, not sure what will. Spring training is a time to loosen up and get ready for the long season ahead; not for opening up your big mouth!
